Lily Marie Pankratz
Biography
Lily Pankratz currently serves as the social media director for the Kansas Medical Clinic. Having started full-time in January 2011, she also works as an executive administrative assistant to Gastroenterologist and President of KMC Dr. Shekhar Challa.
After graduating from Newton High School in 2006, Pankratz attended Cottey College: a 2-year women's college in Nevada, Mo. National honor societies she was a member of included: Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Kappa Delta, and Psi Beta. Pankratz also was placed on the Dean's Honor Roll and appointed a member of the Kansas P.E.O. Society - Chapter I.A in Newton, Kan. In May, 2008, she graduated with an Associate in Art and an Associate in Science.
After transferring to Washburn University, Pankratz became involved on campus by becoming a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity as well as the Advertising Club. She also served as secretary for the Board of Student Media for almost two years. From January 2009 to January 2010, she served as Director of Public Relations for the fraternity and hosted a fundraiser for the local chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates. In April 2009, she was awarded the S.O.A.R. Leadership Award for Transfer Student. During the summer of 2010, Pankratz interned at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library as a communications and marketing intern.
As a senior at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan, Pankratz graduated with a Bachelor degree in Mass Media - emphasis in Public Relations - with a minor in Art. She was placed on the President's Honor Roll two semesters, and Dean's Honor Roll six semesters.
In her free time, Pankratz works as a web technician for the fabric store: Charlotte’s Sew Natural in Newton, Kan. She also does free lance work building social media accounts for small businesses within the state of Kansas.
